A major part of this role will be to work closely with the marketing team to generate new content ideas and track the success of every piece of content published. Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive content strategy
  • Managing the implementation of the strategy/ editorial calendar
  • Producing content that is highly engaging and adheres to our brand image and style guidelines
  • Researching our target audience to better understand their motivations
  • Managing our in-house team of content writers, videographers, and graphic designers. You will be required to provide feedback and oversight to ensure all content meets our company standards.
  • Analyzing all published content to identify trends and areas of improvement to boost engagement rates
  • Creating content performance reports to track the performance of our content strategy
  • Help develop our brand style guidelines
  • Staying up to date with all industry trends (e.g. – SEO techniques, new content platforms, etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or English. Alternatively, you have 3+ years of experience as a content strategist
  • 2+ years of content strategy and/or project management experience (agency or in-house)
  • Knowledge of major content management systems (CMS)
  • Knowledge of major SEO and SEM tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of keyword research tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite 
  • Experience using all major social media platforms for marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills (including the ability to consistently meet deadlines)
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Proven leadership skills
