We are looking for a Content Writer to join our content team to write blog articles, white papers, and other marketing materials as part of our growing content operations.

Content Writer responsibilities include conducting research on studies, industry trends, writing original and engaging content, and editing and proofreading content. Responsibilities

  • Write a variety of content types, ranging from blog articles to white papers, and press releases
  • Research industry topics (look into research studies, interview experts, and combine credible online sources into compelling content)
  • Write compelling content to help drive brand awareness
  • Write content and format it within our content management system (CMS)
  • Edit and proofread content before completing it
  • Submit work to editors and take feedback from them
  • Coordinate alongside marketing and design teams for illustrations
  • Implement keywords into content to help with SEO
  • Help with new and relevant content topic ideas
  • Ensure consistency both with quality and style of content
  • Update and “revamp” existing and underperforming content

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, literature, journalism or a related field of study
  • Proven content writing experience (freelance or in-house)
  • Basic knowledge of content management systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Google Docs
  • A portfolio of published content (various content types, and industries)
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • The ability to work with a team
  • The ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • The ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
