Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience writing for a wide range of industries, topics, and content types and will have a portfolio of published work that we can evaluate. We are especially interested in hearing from freelance writers that have published work that ranks high in search results.

  • Write a variety of content types, such as blog posts, product descriptions, whitepapers, and e-books
  • Research industry topics (this may include doing interviews, reading case studies, and reading research studies so you can write factual and insightful content)
  • Write compelling content that helps drive brand awareness, generates leads, and boosts conversions
  • Make sure all content is correctly formatted so it can be published in our content management system (CMS)
  • Edit and proofread all of your content to ensure it is error-free
  • Make revisions to your work once our editors have given you feedback
  • Work with our design team to produce graphics and other images to supplement your content
  • Carry out keyword research and implement your findings into your content
  • Help generate new content ideas
  • Ensure your content adheres to our brand style guidelines


  • Completed a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, literature, journalism, or a related field of study. Alternatively, you have 2+ years of writing experience.
  • Proven freelance writing experience or you have previously worked as an in-house writer
  • Some knowledge of content management systems (desired)
  • Experience using both Microsoft Word and Google Docs
  • A portfolio of published content (preferably across multiple content types)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability to work remotely
  • The ability to multi-task. You may be given numerous projects at the same time to work on.
  • A track record of consistently meeting deadlines
