How many authors do I list in AMA?
List up to six authors. For seven or more, list the first three followed by et al.
Are journal names abbreviated in AMA?
Yes. AMA uses the standard NLM abbreviation for journal titles, for example JAMA or N Engl J Med. Check journal names in your list, since some sources give the full title.
How do I write the DOI in AMA?
Write it at the end of the reference as doi:10.xxxx, without a link.
