Free AI Content Brief Generator

Enter a keyword and get a brief built from what ranks for it now: the intent, the angle, an outline with key points, and the questions to answer.

Reads Google’s top 10 and “People also ask” for the keyword in that country, so the brief is built on what ranks.

Your brief shows here

Intent, angle, title, meta description, length, an outline, questions to answer and terms to cover.

How to use it

Four quick steps. Free, no sign-up. Up to 30 AI runs a day.

  1. 1

Enter a keyword. The search you want the post to rank for.

  2. 2

Add your reader. Optional. Say who the post is for, like “first-time home buyers”.

  3. 3

Read the brief. It studies Google’s top results where it can, then sets out the intent, outline, questions and terms to cover.

  4. 4

Hand it over. Copy it as Markdown or for Google Docs, and send it to your writer.

What it does

Everything in the Content Brief Generator. Everything a writer needs to start, on one page.

Based on what ranks. Where it can, it reads Google’s top 10 for the keyword, their titles and the questions people ask.

Intent and angle. What searchers want, who the post is for, and the angle that can stand out.

Title and description. A suggested title and meta description, and a target word count range.

Outline. H2s and H3s in order, each with the key points to cover.

Questions and terms. The questions to answer and the related terms the post should include.

Copy anywhere. Copy the brief as Markdown, or formatted for Google Docs.

Guide

What goes in a good content brief. A brief tells a writer what to write and why. A good one saves rewrites and gives the post a real chance to rank.

Start from search intent

Look at what ranks for the keyword. If the top results are how-to guides, a product page won’t rank, and the reverse. The brief should say what kind of page searchers want and what they hope to do after reading.

Say who it’s for and the angle

Name the reader and what they already know. Then give the post an angle the top results miss: a clearer method, more recent data, real examples or a firm opinion. Matching the competition earns a place; adding something earns the click.

Give an outline, not a script

List the H2s and H3s in order, with the key points under each. Leave the wording to the writer. Include the questions people ask about the topic, since answering them clearly helps the post show for more searches.

Add the practical details

A working title and meta description, a word count range based on what ranks, related terms to cover, internal links to add, and any sources or examples to use. Don’t set an exact word count: cover the topic fully, then stop.

Keep it short

A brief should take minutes to read. One page with clear sections works better than a long document nobody finishes.
