More than one site
Adding another site, switching between sites, what each site keeps for itself, and removing one.
Each site has its own plan, articles, voice and connections. Growth includes 3 sites and Agency 10; Free and Starter include one.
Add a site
Choose Add site in the sidebar (or Add site on the Sites page). It's the same as your first: type the address, connect Search Console or skip it, and Writing Studio reads the site and plans its first 30 days.
If your plan's sites are all in use, the button says More sites and takes you to the plans. See Plans and billing.
Switch between sites
Choose the site name at the top of the sidebar, or a site under Sites, or press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) and type its name. Home, the Calendar, Posts to update and Integrations show the site you picked, and Writing Studio remembers it in this browser.
What each site keeps for itself
On each site's page, in the column on the left:
- Site details: what you do, who it's for, your voice, words to avoid and what to know. See Voice and what to know.
- Publishing: where it publishes, auto-publish, its time zone (posts go out at 9:00 there), posts a week and the featured image style.
- Competitors: 3 on Free and Starter, 5 on Growth and Agency.
- Search Console: which property it reads.
The 30-day plan, the articles and the numbers belong to the site too.
What's shared
- Articles and refreshes: your plan's monthly articles and refreshes are shared by all your sites. Spread them however you like with each site's posts a week.
- Your Google account: connect it once; each site picks its own property. See Google Search Console.
- Your plan, billing, team and the Claude and ChatGPT connection.
The Sites page
Sites lists every site with its status, posts a week, auto-publish, Search Console and where it publishes. A site shows Paused if you move to a plan with fewer sites than you have: Writing Studio stops planning and writing for the newest ones until there's room. Nothing is deleted.
Remove a site
On the site's page, open the … menu and choose Remove site. Its plan, drafts, settings and numbers are deleted from Writing Studio; posts already published on your website stay there. Articles already written still count towards the month.
